Sweet and tangy barbeque sauce

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup organic ketchup
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3/4 to 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 to 3 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

[edit] Preparation

  1. Combine vinegar, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, garlic, salt, red pepper, black pepper and oil in large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce het and simmer, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
